Prepare your home and recovery area
Let us help you set up your bedroom and living room for your recovery convenience. Make sure everything you may need is well within reach and that nothing you might need is down low or up high or simply have your personal caregiver do it for you. Stretching and bending can spell disaster for recovery in the early stages of recovery.
Stock up!
We can do about two weeks of groceries and household supplies shopping for you before you go into your surgery. No one wants to cook when they’re in “cosmetic surgery recovery mode” Let our nurse do the cooking for you while she is there.
Fill your prescriptions in advance
We can make sure that your prescriptions are filled for medications and antibiotics well in advance of the surgery.
Post-surgery care products ahead of time
We will help you get your plastic surgery after-care aids ready to go. Any compression garments or ice packs, bandages and creams that your surgeon recommended for you.
Make sure you’ve got transportation
You may not be able to drive for some time after your surgery, so we offer personal transportation, including wheelchair and stretcher accommodations. Which you can depend on to get you to and from your surgery itself as well as to follow-up appointments and wherever else you might need to go during your recovery process.
Have lots of pillows on hand
You’ll want pillows for propping and padding while you’re recovering. This will make staying still for long periods of time far more comfortable, and our caregivers will be there to adjust and fluff them whenever necessary.
Think about a hand held shower head
Bathing and showering, once allowed by your doctor, can be rather difficult. Having a hand held showerhead will help you bathe while avoiding suture areas. But until you are able our Nurse will assist you with bathing and dressing.
Be information-ready
We will be your ears, after face-lift surgery or ear surgery, using a telephone can be nearly impossible without assistance. So we will help you with talking with your doctor or anyone else you may need to communicate with.
Child Care
It’s difficult enough recovering from surgery without worrying about who will care for your children. Don’t worry our caregivers can assist you with your children while you are recovering.
